Build high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.

About SuperNext

SuperNext builds a media operating system for publishers, creators and brands. Our platform connects video, verticals, podcasts and livestreams, from publishing to delivery. We are looking for a developer who knows React Native and can take a mobile product through to a reliable release.

Your role

You will develop mobile applications for iOS and Android with React Native. You will turn product ideas into intuitive, performant interfaces and own implementation, platform behaviour and the quality people experience in everyday use.

Working closely with product, design and backend colleagues, you will make considered technical decisions and keep the code understandable for the team. We value solutions that ship and remain maintainable.

Your tasks

  • Build and optimize mobile features in React Native and TypeScript, with clean architecture and reusable components.
  • Integrate APIs and handle loading states, errors, authentication and slow connections so the app remains dependable.
  • Create precise interfaces, smooth interactions and accessible experiences. Check performance and behaviour on real iOS and Android devices.
  • Investigate issues across JavaScript and the native platforms. Integrate SDKs and WebViews where the product needs them.
  • Cover critical user journeys with appropriate tests and help deliver builds, store releases, monitoring and fixes after launch.
  • Improve existing architecture and dependencies incrementally. Share decisions and knowledge through reviews and useful documentation.

Your profile

  • Several years of experience with React Native and React, and strong TypeScript or modern JavaScript skills.
  • You have shipped production apps on iOS and Android and can explain your contribution, including difficult bugs or release challenges.
  • You understand mobile navigation, state management, API integration and the differences between iOS and Android.
  • You can navigate an existing codebase and have experience with debugging, performance, testing and build or release workflows.
  • You work independently, consider the user’s experience and communicate clearly with designers, product colleagues and other developers.
  • Excellent English; German is a plus.

Useful extras include Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java, native modules and React Native’s New Architecture, SDK integration, push notifications and deep links. You do not need experience in all of them.

AI in your development workflow

You use tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor or GitHub Copilot deliberately: to understand code, implement features, investigate bugs, add tests and review changes. What matters is your ability to understand and validate the results.

You give agents clear context, break work into verifiable steps and improve repeatable workflows with repository instructions, skills or MCP integrations where useful. You review diffs, run relevant checks and test mobile journeys on devices. Architecture decisions and release quality remain your responsibility. Experience with one effective AI workflow is enough; expertise in every tool is not required.

Why SuperNext

  • Shape mobile applications with high standards for usability, performance and technical quality.
  • Room to contribute: collaborate directly with product, design and backend, with short paths to technical decisions.
  • An interdisciplinary team that values ownership, thoughtful implementation and knowledge sharing.
  • AI-supported development and room to improve how we work together.
  • An office in Berlin-Kreuzberg and flexible working hours.

Show us what you have built

Send us your CV or profile and, if available, a link to an app, repository or project. Tell us what you contributed and how you use React Native and AI tools in your work. If your code is private, a short explanation of your contribution is welcome.
